Racism Response Protocol
The Protocol is divided into 4 key sections:

Safety & Prevention
Dismantling racism at its roots to create a more inclusive, equitable community where everyone is welcome, supported, and empowered.

Taking Charge
Rather than being passive observers, active intervention is a widespread community commitment to keep each
other safe.

Event Documentation & Reporting
This can help victims feel heard, and can
help the community develop a better plan of action.

Providing Care
In order to recover and restore a sense of safety,
people need timely, accessible, trauma-informed,
and culturally appropriate support.
